Artists and Performers
Dragon Dreaming wouldn’t be the colourful, awe-inspiring and magical world that it is without the contribution of artists. We believe that Festival and self-expression are intrinsically linked. The whole festival is the community’s art piece and we are all co-creators. Everything here is part of the composition.
From sculptures, installations, mobile and morphing pieces to roving performers, entertainers and acrobats. We simply can’t live without the multitude of marvellous people, pieces and installations that have been carefully created to inspire, amaze and invigorate. Each year we aim to create a bigger light, colour, form, shape and texture explosion than in previous events. From carved geometric shapes to visual projections. From independent locally made short films to belly dancing.
It is also our goal for emerging artists and performer to use the event to network and promote themselves as well as adding their achievements to their professional portfolio.
Whether you would like to contribute your décor pieces, exhibit your work or perform, we would like to hear from you. Now is the time! Drag out your paints, your acting skills or your angle grinder and get started on those amazing pieces.
